To every person that supported me, I ask you tonight to support and elect Peggy Flanagan as the next U.S. senator from Minnesota.

I’m a proud DFLer. Every letter has meaning to me. But the DFL endorsement process just doesn’t reflect the full scope of the party that we are. And the purple state that we have become.

I wanted to be honest with the people of Minnesota. I will tell you when I get it wrong, and I got that one wrong.

That would certainly suggest that the lack of staffing was at least partially related to the closure.
