I’ve won a district that Donald Trump carried. The job of our Senate candidate is to hold this U.S. Senate seat and to help DFLers up and down the ticket.

In that spirit, I just called the lieutenant governor to congratulate her on her hard-fought victory and to offer her my full and complete support going forward.

But until we get to that day, it’s naive to think that we’re not going to need resources.

What we need is good farm policy, not ad hoc assistance.
