As part of the gun safety bill, on a bipartisan basis, we put in a version of the bill that I have been working on with Senator Hirono and others for years to make sure that people that are convicted of domestic abuse can't go out and buy a gun the next day.

We need more domestic beef, right? We do not need foreign beef on an unfair playing field for our cattle ranchers. I will stand up for that.
I think part of what we need is more sunshine on what’s happening here, and more transparency, and people understanding how truly bad this is.
We just need to find the will to get them done and see them through.
