Amy Klobuchar: “We need to invest in our future.”

If we’re going to spend some money to keep Minnesota growing and strong, we’ve got to look at the health insurance premiums as well as drug prices and things that will bring down the costs overall.

If you want to take a job, you can’t if you don’t have a place to live. If you want to have kids, you can’t if you don’t have a place to put them, and that’s why I’m so devoted to this issue.

We stood up for people. We stood up for strangers, and I believe, in the end, when you’re a beacon like that, that makes people want to move to your state. That makes them want to start businesses here. All of that is tied in with housing.

We just need to find the will to get them done and see them through.
