For far too many families, the struggle to find high-quality, affordable childcare serves as a barrier to children’s early development and to parents entering the workforce.

We stood up for people. We stood up for strangers, and I believe, in the end, when you’re a beacon like that, that makes people want to move to your state. That makes them want to start businesses here. All of that is tied in with housing.

I’ll make the case because it’s good for our national security and brings costs down at the pump.

If we’re going to spend some money to keep Minnesota growing and strong, we’ve got to look at the health insurance premiums as well as drug prices and things that will bring down the costs overall.
