I think that Kash Patel's nomination is a reason that we're going to have background checks on these nominees. It's one of the reasons, when you look at some of the nominees, why we have to have an open hearing. I just don't think that should be the mission of the FBI. It shouldn't be a revenge mission.
Klobuchar criticized Patel's nomination and emphasized the importance of experience in the FBI.
