The Republican Party has become something almost unrecognizable. When I started there, it was tough then but it just got worse and worse and worse and worse.

I don`t want my grandchildren, children saying to be Grandpa, you are in the Senate, why didn`t you do anything in 50 years, I want to say why didn`t you do anything about climate.

This is an existential threat to our democracy. If we lose our democracy, it`s - we lose everything.

Democrats should stop complaining and get to work. That`s how you win elections. You know, stop working against ourselves, and instead, get out the vote.
