I think Mitch was afraid they would be forced into doing that. They feel forced to do it. This though gives us time to pass build back better.

Absolutely, I said after the 6th very publicly that there should be an ethics investigation of Cruz and of Hawley and those who were going to deny certification.

Well, there`s a lot of time between that and now and what Democrats have to do is accomplish stuff for the American people.
