I am honored to recognize Patrick Knight whose life of service reflects the very best of our nation as the Veteran of the Month for July.

I commend him for his service, which serves as an inspiration to us all.

The NDAA for Fiscal Year 2027 will help rebuild the arsenal of freedom, restore peace through strength, and support our brave servicemembers.

I am proud to see the subcommittee consider my legislation, the bipartisan PLAN for Broadband Act, which would increase coordination among all relevant federal agencies so we can close the digital divide.
