Our nation's veterans have sacrificed so much for our freedoms, and we must ensure they have every opportunity to succeed when transitioning into civilian life.

I am proud to see the subcommittee consider my legislation, the bipartisan PLAN for Broadband Act, which would increase coordination among all relevant federal agencies so we can close the digital divide.

It also prioritizes investment in the forces and capabilities needed to strengthen deterrence and improve military readiness to maintain a strong U.S. posture.

With this recognition, the Jackson County Chamber of Commerce has once again shown why our community is such a powerful engine for innovation, collaboration, and local growth.
