I am proud to see the subcommittee consider my legislation, the bipartisan PLAN for Broadband Act, which would increase coordination among all relevant federal agencies so we can close the digital divide.
The legislation enhances the quality of life for servicemembers by increasing their pay by 5 to 7 percent, as well as improving housing, education, and access to childcare for military families.
It also prioritizes investment in the forces and capabilities needed to strengthen deterrence and improve military readiness to maintain a strong U.S. posture.
