On rollcall No. 2, on Wednesday, January 8, I was unavoidably detained and missed a rollcall vote. Had I been present, I would have voted ``yea'' on rollcall 2, in support of a bill I cosponsored, H.R. 724, to amend the Clean Air Act to remove the requirement for dealer certification of new light-duty motor vehicles. ____________________
