very briefly, this debate is important, because the White House spins the President's budget as a glorious solution of how government can solve problems by spending money. Nobody has talked about where the money comes from. That is the purpose of this debate and vote. Everything in this bill is the President's budget proposal for tax and fee increases. I think it is important that we look at where the money comes from because it comes out of the pockets of working families in this country. In the President's budget, it takes $129 billion out of those pockets.
