Madam Chair, I have an amendment at the desk. The CHAIR. The Clerk will designate the amendment. The text of the amendment is as follows: At the end, add the following section: SEC. 3. PROHIBITION ON USE OF FUNDS FOR CHILD CARE ASSISTANCE TO CONSTRUCT NEW CHILD CARE FACILITIES. The Secretary of Veterans Affairs may not use funds made available for child care assistance provided under section 1730D of title 38, United States Code, as added by section 2, to construct any new child care facility. The CHAIR. Pursuant to House Resolution 105, the gentleman from Michigan (Mr. Bergman) and a Member opposed each will control 5 minutes. The Chair recognizes the gentleman from Michigan.
