We are not just talking about a few people's livelihoods. We are talking about entire communities who could be harmed by a 'transition' to lower paying jobs.
So, as you know, a frequent line that certain many of us in Congress and on this committee have used is 'all-of-the-above' strategy.
We must also make sure we are not leaving behind communities who have lost fossil fuel jobs.
In order to reduce CO2 emissions as fast as possible we need to modernize the permitting process.
