Dan Benishek: “I am Dr. Dan Benishek, a congressman from Michigan's 1st District, the northern half of Michigan.”

Wolf predation was the reason the Michigan Department of Natural Resources has allowed for fewer opportunities to hunt antlerless deer

One of my complaints, to tell you the truth, Doctor, is the fact that the doctors have very little say in how the VA works.

I want to thank Mrs. Noem for bringing this to my attention. I, frankly, was not aware of the severity of the problem.

I have to, unfortunately, contradict my colleague from Michigan, Mrs. Dingell, in that, in your opening statement, you mentioned that hunting deer in Michigan has not suffered under the wolf.
