I don't like the fact that we don't have an answer. Apparently, right now, physicians are seeing patients slowly in one hospital and then maybe more effectively in another because of the staffing issues within their clinic.
Benishek is disappointed by the lack of answers regarding patient care and staffing issues.

I have to, unfortunately, contradict my colleague from Michigan, Mrs. Dingell, in that, in your opening statement, you mentioned that hunting deer in Michigan has not suffered under the wolf.
So you are telling me that there are only 12 places in the country that this is actually occurring out of the hundreds of VA facilities around?
The things we are talking about here today really are examples of the Federal Government getting involved in things that they don't have the right to do. I think a lot of it comes from these bureaucrats that are just writing regulations…
There should be a long-term management of this with a regular board, just like proposed for the VA.
