Dan Benishek: “It would be nicer for me for you to have a personal statement, and I know you probably can't do that because somebody…”

Frankly, Mrs. Noem was right, this sounds very much like the VA, you know, government-run healthcare. Sometimes it does not work.

I have to, unfortunately, contradict my colleague from Michigan, Mrs. Dingell, in that, in your opening statement, you mentioned that hunting deer in Michigan has not suffered under the wolf.

A species should not be delisted until it is recovered.

There should be a long-term management of this with a regular board, just like proposed for the VA.
