I want to publicly renew my request for another hearing, and I'm so encouraged to hear that there will be.

Every American has the right to three basic needs from their government: clean air to breathe, safe food to eat, and air that they can breathe that will not harm their bodies.

I never thought this could happen in America in this day and age in our great country and our great home of Michigan.

We need to get women in the non-traditional fields, so this effort of rolling this out is getting women engaged.

I want to say I am very encouraged by your leadership.

It is refreshing to have an Administrator who first of all shows commitment and enthusiasm about your responsibility.

So for the record, are we saying that although it is classified as a nonimmigrant, you are saying, for the record, that they must go through everything as an immigrant--through the complete process?

The comprehensive and deliberate policy to fight against terrorism is absolutely our job in Congress.

91 percent of the attempts by suspected or known terrorists to purchase firearms were approved.

We are losing a generation to senseless gun violence.

Anyone that hears that number should have a sense of concern.

I just want this on the record, that we passed a bill before we had this dialogue.

The proposed stream protection rule was drafted to preserve clean water and a healthy environment.

I want the panel to know, Dr. Reaser, that I am looking forward to that report and your leadership, but leadership is needed.

I am a little concerned that we have a plan that does not really cause action.

The amount of money that we are paying to address invasive species to me should not be spent without a comprehensive plan.
