this is not a new concern. Last year the House VA-HUD conference report requested a GAO study of how the VERA system affects the VISNs. We had expected this report to be concluded by this point so we could have the information before voting on another appropriations bill. It is now my understanding that the report has been significantly delayed and is not yet available. I would ask the chairman and ranking member when are we expecting the GAO report to be issued?
