I just want to thank all of you for what you are doing.

I am so outraged at a do-nothing Congress just pointing the finger.

People on the street do not buy that. They do not see the action.

This Congress is not doing anything. It is not like the previous Congresses, trust me.

This is a do-nothing Congress, and we should be doing the jobs that we were sent here to do.

The American ethic has always been one of independence and self-sufficiency.

There should be some sense of decorum, and vulgarity should be discouraged.

Unfortunately, House Republican leadership are rejecting the offer negotiated by President Biden.

The Biden-Harris Administration requested $3.5 billion to secure the Southern border with additional holding facilities and funding for 2,000 new asylum officers.

Extreme Republicans have a choice. They can keep using immigration to try to score political points, or they can help solve the problem.

The immigration system President Biden inherited has been broken for a very long time.

We actually agree on a couple of things, and that is there is zero comparison between the Trump and Biden Administration.

We will really not tolerate, nor should we, inexcusable things like absenteeism that is undocumented, or poor productivity with no plan to increase it.

We believe, I know I certainly do, and I think that many of you do also, that the American people deserve the best performance that agencies can provide.

I want to set the tone of this hearing by focusing on two words, and that is, 'efficiency and effectiveness.'

Why in the hell are we playing this game? And why don't we be honest? If it were so important, it could wait.

Ladies and gentlemen, this clock is showing what is happening to our country while we debate over and over and over again not any wrongdoing by President Biden but trying to link what his son may or may not have done to him.

I would like for you to talk some more about this whole aspect of the athlete being a human being.

I want to correct that aspect of the record. While that may be your opinion, it is not one that I share.

PBM profits have increased rapidly even as lifesaving medications continue to be unaffordable and inaccessible for many people across this country.

As I said during that last hearing, people are hurting while companies are profiting.

The Administration understands, as I said before, that addiction is a disease.

It is my plan and intention to vote for and to fully fund ONDCP.
