We cannot let these drug companies continue to target our country, the United States of America, for the biggest and deepest price increases anywhere in the world.

Drug companies are hiking their prices higher and higher, and placing an even greater burden on the very patients who rely on these drugs to survive.

And James Madison was very clear about this when he said that those who mean to be their own governors must arm themselves with the power that knowledge gives.

Your company has made more than $34 billion--$34 billion--from Copaxone but it reported to the committee that it has spent two percent of that on R&D expenditures for Copaxone patients.

The President has failed to fulfill his promise. We are here to keep Elijah's commitment.

this is precisely why we need to give the government and Medicare the power to negotiate for lower drug prices because our patients and our taxpayers are getting ripped off by big pharma.

But we are told if we put any limits on price increases in America, we will stifle innovation.
