I, along with my Democratic colleagues, am committed to ensuring the viability and sustainability of Medicare without deep ideological-driven cuts with harmful consequences.

If you got a senior who is 65 years old with no--who has diabetes and who has heart disease, I asked the question, who is going to insure them?

We are dealing with this in the words of the President, with the urgency of now, because it is extremely urgent.

If mortgage servicing companies are allowed to disregard requests for documents that are integral to this investigation, the Committee's integrity will be called into question and, more importantly, abuses may continue.

Ranking Member Cummings requested that Chairman Issa issue subpoenas to those mortgage servicing companies.

When Chairman Issa declined to send these document requests, Ranking Member Cummings sent them himself.
