It is responsible for major fish kills, for the closing of recreational and commercial waterways, and it is a major health problem for the people of our region. This is an extremely serious matter. I am very pleased that the Federal Government is moving in with funds to try to deal with this problem. It is a good amendment, and I strongly support it. Once again, I congratulate my colleague for his leadership in this area.
