Ben Cardin actually said...

Our bottom line is to protect the public health of the people of this Nation.

I hope we have learned that lesson to get it down to the level of regulation earlier.

I know Senator Cardin mentioned this earlier, as required by the Safe Water Drinking Act and the agency's policy on children's health.

Can we learn something from perchlorate, in that it was included in the first uncontaminated chemical monitoring rule?
