this morning's guest chaplain is Rabbi Paul Kerbel, a leader of the Jewish community in Prince Georges County, MD. I know the Senate joins me in thanking Rabbi Kerbel for delivering this morning's prayer. Rabbi Kerbel is Rabbi of Congregation Nevey Shalom in Bowie, MD. He is vice president of the Washington Board of Rabbis, a member of the board of the United Jewish Appeal--Federation of Greater Washington, and a member of the National Rabbinic Cabinet of the United Jewish Appeal. I certainly appreciated Rabbi Kerbel's words of inspiration this morning. I am confident that they will enlighten our efforts to engage in reasoned, respectful debate today.
