When it comes to shooting missiles or deploying U.S. military into foreign countries, we all the time allow presidents, not just one, to do it.
To my knowledge, there are no bills to do that. To my knowledge, no member of this committee has suggested that in the past or now.
I have got to respectfully disagree, Mr. Schwarcz. When the Senate is consulted on various appointments they don't all have to agree.
Every one of us gets complaints from our constituents that your company--not just you; the other two are no different--that your industry treats them like dirt.
File a lawsuit and maybe you will get some equity. Otherwise, they are going to keep doing to you what they have been doing to you forever.
If you push prevailing wage changes, you will lose... that is a direct attack on the middle class.
But for those of you who want tax cuts, it is awfully difficult for me to hear the very same people who want tax cuts simultaneously ask me to have more Federal spending on their issues.

Everybody that comes in and asks me for things from the Federal Government, every one of you has to be willing to pay your fair share in taxes.
I fear you would be left behind, and I think that would be a mistake and a tragedy.
That is the best way I can think of that would divide us, not just down the middle.
