What Senator Kerry has been doing, which is belittling the contributions of these coalition countries.

All of this happy talk from the White House is not going to fix the problem in Iraq.

I actually did vote for the $87 billion, before I voted against it.

This president rushed to war without a plan to win the peace, and he's cost all of you $200 billion that could have gone to schools, could have gone to health care.

Two hundred billion for Iraq, but they tell us we can't afford after-school programs for our children. Two hundred billion dollars for Iraq, but they tell us we can't afford health care for our veterans.

We need to really bring our allies to our side.

We need a new direction. We need statesmanship. We need leadership.

Of all the wrong choices that President Bush has made, the most catastrophic choice is the mess that he has made in Iraq.

It's the wrong war in the wrong place at the wrong time.

That's $200 billion that we're not investing in health care in America. That's $200 billion we're not investing in schools in America. That's $200 billion that we're not investing in prescription drugs for seniors.

And I will tell you that of all the wrong choices, of all the wrong choices that President Bush has made, the most catastrophic choice is the mess that he has made in Iraq.

He had $5.6 trillion of surplus, right? He made a choice about what to do with that. A lot of us made a different choice. I voted against his plan. I thought his was the wrong choice.

I think this whole thing does come down to one letter, George W. Bush. W stands for wrong -- wrong directions, wrong choices. And it is time to put it right.

The phoniest thing I've ever heard.

The last Democratic president over eight years helped us create 23 million new jobs. That's compared to George Bush losing a million jobs. That's W. Wrong, wrong choices, wrong direction for America.

It's the wrong war, in the wrong place, at the wrong time.

I don't think this is something to celebrate. I think it's something to get to work on.

My friends, at the rate that this administration is creating jobs, you're not going to have a net-plus one job in the state of Ohio until the year 2011.

I think that leaving 45 million Americans without any health insurance at all and allowing 5 million more Americans to lose their health insurance in the last four years makes you unfit to lead this nation.

I think misleading your nation into war makes you unfit to lead this nation. I think that doing nothing when millions of Americans are losing their jobs over four years and doing nothing makes you unfit to lead this nation.

Every single one of us wants to extend to him our best wishes, our prayers, and our thoughts...

I'm not going to have my commitment to defend this country questioned by those who refused to serve when they could have and by those who misled the nation into Iraq.

I guess I'll leave it up to the voters whether five deferments makes someone more qualified to defend this nation than two tours of duty.
