Will you support the statutory right of States to do more to reduce dependence on foreign oil, reduce global warming, pollution, save money at the gas pumps, and create tens of thousands, hundreds of thousands of jobs in the clean car job…

Those standards are projected to reduce our dependence on foreign oil by more than 2 million barrels a day, prevent 6 billion tons of carbon pollution, and save consumers more than $1.7 trillion at the gas pump.

The EPA was never intended to be our Nation's front line environmental regulator. The States were to have regulatory primacy.

Will you promise to keep on the books the scientific finding that carbon pollution poses a danger to the American public health and welfare?

I am going to recuse myself from anything that relates to any litigation that I have initiated as the Attorney General of Oklahoma.

Otherwise, honestly, people are going to think that it is not just the fox guarding the hen house, it is the fox destroying the hen house.

What the American people are expecting here is the EPA doesn't turn into every polluter's ally.

This is a clear line for the American public, given your record from Oklahoma in suing the EPA on all of these matters...

What actions would you support to ensure that seafood brought to the market is legally caught and sustainable?

Will you commit to working with Senator Fischer and me so that we can try to find a way of moving forward legislation that does create those incentives for the Federal agencies to free up the spectrum that the private sector could use?

I've introduced legislation, which is essentially a cyber labeling program, that would just say to industries of the United States you have to label your devices in terms of how secure they are from being hacked.

We have to think at the same time about cybersecurity, about privacy, about what are the protections which we're going to give to Americans.

IoT isn't just going to stand for Internet of Things, it's also going to stand for the Internet of Threats to the security, to the privacy, of all Americans.

I think that is where Senator Markey was driving, that there is a distinction between an imported gallon and a domestically produced gallon.

I think it has real consequences when it is coming from a country that has itself a strategic vulnerability.

I do not think it is outside of the purview of the State Department because where we import oil from... implicates our foreign policy.
