So does that give you some reason to believe that the United States, President Trump, should play a hands-on role and not a hands-off role in terms of trying to resolve this view?

A diplomatic resolution is the only way that we are going to be able to resolve these difficulties, including splitting up the oil revenues or whatever.

I still believe in my heart of hearts that a political reconciliation that provides for equitable distribution of national wealth in a transparent way will bring people together against those narrow group of extremists.

I think because of the unevenness of his statements and positions which he has taken thus far, it is highly unclear as to whether or not he has the ability to be able to think this thing through in a way that avoids an actual military…

Can you speak about the importance of the law enforcement cooperation that is necessary between the EU and the United States?

In response to Russia's campaign to influence the recent U.S. presidential elections, the Obama administration imposed sanctions on a number of individuals and entities.

I think any of us who voted for it did not anticipate it would be utilized as it is utilized today.

So let me just follow up on that.
