The idea that somehow a terrorist group can be split into a military wing and a political and that somehow one part is a terror group yet another is not is beyond absurd.

Bill Keating is an American politician currently serving as the U.S. Representative for Massachusetts's 9th congressional district, a position he has held since January 3, 2013. A member of the Democratic Party, Keating has focused on issues such as national security, veterans' affairs, and economic development throughout his tenure. I want to thank Mr. DeSantis for his leadership on House Resolution 259, which echoes strong words and actions from the administration including yesterday's sanctions.
With this bill, Congressman Chabot and I hope to provide displaced children, especially young girls, with economic, emotional, and educational opportunities they deserve.
I also want to say something about urging Kenya to have a fair and safe election.
And, finally, briefly to express my support for Ron DeSantis' resolution in support of the Venezuelan people.
This resolution recognizes the 50 years ASEAN has promoted stability, prosperity, and peace in Southeast Asia.
I want to thank the chairman and the ranking member for having this important hearing and taking a leadership role on really an important issue that Congress has gone silent on for many years now.
Our long-term success it is essential because we can win militarily but holding that area, too.
I appreciate your leadership on this issue and your attention to streamlining the changes between this bill and the House-passed version from last Congress.
9 years, they might be not be deaf but they are slow of hearing I would say in a sense.
It is important that we do not penalize our foreign partners for their efforts, promote peace at home, and that we ensure any foreign assistance authorized to be suspended under this bill is not detrimental to our security concerns.
