A core value of Western democratic countries is also that competition must be fair and everyone must play by the same rules.

We are sensitive to the issues that they are dealing with, particularly with elections coming up and dealing with the Brexit issue.

The question we must ask is this, is China playing by the rules?

Unfortunately, the overwhelming evidence across the range of China's global dealings indicate, really, that at this time they are not.

Competition after all is the bedrock of a successful capitalist system.
