The Democratic Party finally came with some alternative. They finally said this week, here is what we would do. What they would do would be to cut the spending, the bleeding in the program, by only $90 billion. What that does is that just delays the bankruptcy. It is like putting a Band-Aid on a gaping wound and say all you have to do is pump.
