I want to personally thank Rear Admiral Polowczyk, because I remember speaking with you specifically.

He does not deserve to be talked to that way, and he at least ought to have the ability to defend himself.

This committee unfortunately hasn't put a focus on China that needs to be placed on not just in holding China accountable, but also, doing more work to try to bring some of that manufacturing back.

That's an absurd claim. No one should make a claim to a witness who's a military service member to say he was missing in action.

I applaud President Trump for invoking the Defense Production Act, and using so many other tools that he's had available to meet this challenge to increase the production of ventilators, masks, gloves, so many other PPE supplies.

There's been a lot of questions raised about the Defense Production Act.

I hope we put more focus on that in this Congress, because Congress surely can help expedite.

I think we all remember: If you like what you have, you can keep it. Remember that phrase? Probably the most broken promise in political history. Millions of people lost the good healthcare that they liked because Washington bureaucrats…

And, again, as Dr. Green pointed out, there are thousands of people dying because they're staying at home.

But, in the meantime, for somebody to suggest that the administration is refusing to cooperate kind of flies in the face of what you are testifying before us today about, that there is cooperation, there's negotiation.

But for somebody to suggest that a program that has over a 99 percent success rate is a failure or shouldn't have happened is ludicrous.

I applaud the Trump administration for implementing Operation Warp Speed to push more results for families, to get more testing, to get more cures, therapies.
