I am deeply concerned about the use of emergency powers during this pandemic.

It is just patently absurd that we would be operating under a 'emergency' for almost as long as I have been alive.

I believe in limits to Executive Power and I think it is critically important that we do that.

I am a strong supporter of needing infrastructure, as is well-noted in debates in this Committee and believing that we need a fence and a wall and we need to have infrastructure on the border, the southern border to manage that crisis.

Obviously we are going to original intent, talking about the Framers' intent.
