I'm shocked. I'm repulsed. I see an incident that has no legality, no constitutionality. And those officers do not deserve to carry a badge or a gun again.
Citizens have a right to expect that they are going to be safe and that law enforcement officers are not going to turn into criminals themselves.
I hope and certainly urge Chief Riley to be tough, to be swift, and to have a zero tolerance policy, as Richard Pennington and I did when we were in leadership positions in New Orleans.
