My litmus test for the One, Big, Not-so-beautiful Bill was simple: Does it grow our national debt? The answer is yes. The deficit in 2026 will be $270 billion more than it was this year. That's why I voted against this bill.

I can't really honestly look Americans in the face and say that I'm going to be doing something about the deficit if I can't cut 9 billion.
