On Wednesday, September 6, 2006 I was absent from the House to attend the visitation for a United States Marine from my district. Had I been present I would have voted: Rollcall No. 427--``yea''; rollcall No. 428--``yea''; rollcall No. 429--``yea.'' ____________________

As of now, we are in complete compliance, we believe in the Executive Order with regard to private prisons.
We are still working with the districts to make sure that we inspections, that we are still taking full responsibility for the treatment of our detainees.
We feel a little disenfranchised or we have lost--we want to be more empowered.
