The American people have made it clear they do not support repealing the Affordable Care Act.

In my State, which has probably done the best job of expanding Medicaid of any State in the country, we have reduced the uninsured population by 60 percent.

We are going to repeal it; that is first priority and really there are no ideas for replacing it.

I will keep an open mind. I will ask questions and I look forward to hearing more from our witnesses.
