Have we ever been successful in raising taxes to help our economy in a recession?
The unemployment rate as of January 2009 was 7.7 percent. In August of this year, the unemployment rate was 9.6 percent.
Should we not be concerned about the impact this, paired with the large budget deficits that this administration has projected, will have on my 40 grandchildren and future generations?
It is amazing to me how two people can differ on a financial reserve law than the Chairman and myself.
Small business creates jobs, and if this Congress doesn't act, we are not going to create those jobs.
I just am worried where we are heading and I am worried about the tools that you have to counter where we are heading.
I am troubled by self-determination and a certain way to self-determine if, not allowing the people to vote on what they want is not the proper way to self-determine.
