This bill is only here because there's a desire from the left to create two new U.S. Senate seats.

I think that the Democrats thus far in this Congress have displayed partisanship at unprecedented levels and I hope that we can change that.

Liberal progressives supporting this bill support stealing billions from their very own constituents to send it straight to D.C.

The Democrats want you to ignore the issues I've addressed, but we aren't going to let that happen.
