I think the gentleman has done a wonderful job and I commend him for it. The American people have seen the future of Government that is partially closed, and many have found that it works just fine. We will get to a balanced budget by weeding out wasteful and inefficient Washington spending, and this is a good way to start that process. So I urge all of my colleagues to support this very historic legislation.
