My colleagues from Virginia have been tenacious in bringing the problems at Lorton prison to my attention. It is certainly a situation which needs to be addressed in the near future. As the gentleman have requested, I will work in conference to secure language directing the Attorney General to look at this problem with the D.C. Department of Corrections and report to the Congress on necessary steps.
