I understand. As you know, the EPA went to court to ask for additional time on these Boiler MACT rules. They were denied that, and our legislation is designed to give them a little bit more time and give the industry more time to comply. And because of that, I would respectfully oppose the gentlelady's amendment and ask that it be defeated. I yield back the balance of my time.

Congress did not write the Clean Air Act to provide EPA with the ability to create new regulatory powers and authorities so it can transform the Nation's energy system.
Well, some States would disagree with that. I've talked to many of them, and they view--even though you went through a process, that you set the standard.
Mr. Chairman, we have no further speakers on our side of the aisle except for myself, and I think I have the right to close. I don't know if the gentleman from Illinois has additional speakers or if he would like to go at this time.
