Today, I offer a bill that would bring fairness and equity, as the gentleman from New Mexico (Mr. Udall) said, to an injustice that has occurred and that will have a significant impact in helping the members of the Choctaw, Chicasaw, Cherokee, Creek, and Seminole Nations, historically referred to as the Five Civilized Tribes, who still own individual Indian restricted land in eastern Oklahoma.
