“I would simply add to what my friend from Mississippi has said and others have said that this bill is the culmination of months of work by the committee in a bipartisan way to give the men and women that we have in uniform, particularly those men and women in harm's way what we believe they need in order to carry on their duty on behalf of the United States. I think everybody on the committee agrees with me that everything that we can possibly do to support them we are going to do. I want to compliment the chairman, the ranking member, and other members of the committee for a job well done.”
