It is an honor to be here today in support of my Kansas friend and colleague Mike Pompeo as the President's nominee for Secretary of State.

We are in a dire fix. We are trying to write a farm bill here, and it is with a backdrop of severe budget limitations.

I hope we do not stumble on it, and that is to somehow get back engaged with TPP.

I do not want to get picked off by all of a sudden saying 'no' to the critical access or moving to some other thing without really knowing where we are going.
