Opening Statement of: Hon. Pat Roberts, a U.S. Senator from the State of Kansas.

I have the dubious privilege of being the longest serving member on the Ethics Committee in the history of the United States Senate.

Mr. Chairman, I move that we adopt the rules and resolution.

As a Marine, I take this issue personally and it helps that we have 37,000 military men and women stationed in Kansas.
