There's talk about warrantless searches all across America. The legislation does no such thing. It's a short bill. It's 26 pages. I would urge everyone to go read it for themselves. It fairly clearly limits what government may do, what information government may receive. It limits what private companies can share with government and amongst themselves. It limits what government can do with that information once it is received. It has greatly capped what is going on here. Its design is simple: it is to make sure that all of the information about direct attacks on America are widely known, easily disseminated, and available for all to help in the protection of the American state. I urge my colleagues to support this legislation.
