I'm concerned that, right now, it calls for eliminating key programs, like the COPS Anti-Heroin Task Forces.

I also recognize the concerns, expressed by some of my colleagues and by certain law enforcement entities in Kansas.

I want the appropriations process to work, and I pledge to you to do everything I can to accomplish that goal.
